projective approach the challenge from the analysis of natural and built environment. We became the place from volumetric analysis of the relationship, functional and space of the school, and meet environmental peculiarities of the place. Only then we could consider giving architectural form to the immateriality of the numbers and words.

As a first step we decided to align the new building on the existing street, making it a balcony where you can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of the lagoon.

The lowest level is mottled to the territory through its thick stone walls that are home to activities that require larger and we will work better interlinked (SUM and Dance Hall). On this stands the rest of the building materials easing to reduce the perception of its volume from the rest of the buildings.

The great flag of classrooms up their sills as high as necessary to create an atmosphere of concentration while developing the school, leaving for the galleries and terraces covered semi-contemplative enjoyment of nature.
Around the base

juxtaposed two outdoor spaces that oxygenate the set: the first, the "Court of the Arts" (level +107), equipped with benches, and LED lighting, which can be accessed from the main entrance the school by a ramp or stairs. It integrates the existing field by using its surface to get comfortably to parents, students, teachers and guests.

The second open space, the "Plaza de las Artes", serves as small-scale amphitheater, where you can enjoy the events either from the atrium of arrival from the stairs (in the lounge area of dance) or from the semi-covered galleries of the classroom.

materiality as EXPRESSIVE SUBSYSTEM

organize material, structurally and aesthetically to the building by material systems:

Basement =
Stonewall, is directly linked to land, emerge from it with his own forces and materials, reminding us turn what place stands the new piece of architecture and revitalizing traditional forms and historical construction of the region.

Structure = Reinforced Concrete : expressed in its simplest form, free of finishes added, is structural character of the whole and is perceived as a high-powered exoskeleton formal and plastic.
Siding = Wood, represents all the organic shapes and flexible applications, those gestures that we have almost whimsical, but which contain in their fiber plasticity and freedom of art. Is the material chosen for their acoustic contribution for those applications that require it.

Lightness = Steel : define the details, eases the tectonic nature of building, the gray color helps to understand the concept. Pergolas, railings and parapets circulations, tetrapods, and other elements make up the formal repertoire resulting from this system of choice.

as an indispensable resource SUSTAINABILITY
The challenge of thinking, design, or design a building today, is to figure out how to use available resources wisely and making the best use of what is captured, stored and uses energy sources (available in your geographic area) that are renewable. We intend to have this building icon throughout the College, create an environment where monitoring and constant environmental testing (conducted by their teachers and followed by his students).

How Co2 generates a building like this?, What percentage of your daily water consumption is the saving?, What amount of electricity generated and where it is used?, What kind supplies and how much watering your landscape?, what type of heating system used, how it manages its waste and diminish it by?, what are control systems that guarantee sunlight-free environments visual harshness?

You can join all these questions and re-new activities in the curriculum of competition between the four houses (Lancaster, Tudor, Windsor & York) in both the Lower School and in the Upper School, in a possible "Newton Green Competition ", strengthening the link between a building of high environmental performance, a school tradition for tradition, commitment to the environment, and better positioning in the global educational context.

Flexibility and Accessibility: believe that the efficiency of a building is not only given by the management of resources, but also possess spatial flexibility (fundamental premise Japanese standards for green buildings). Acoustical folding partitions, which are hung from the structure of H º A º, can alter the dimensions of the classroom generated modules of 4 x 8 6 x 8 m, 12 x 8mm, and even a single flag of 24 x 8m. depending on the needs and programmatic events.

All decks and patios are connected by stairs and ramps that allow for a smooth journey, in addition to a passenger elevator that connects the different floors of the building. From all levels can access a health service ready for the disabled.
