The entry of Art Deco in Cuba is produced in the late twenties, and developed during the thirties reaching influence to the forties. During the thirties are intriguing buildings under the streamline . Among these buildings emphasizes the drama Faust.

The pomp built in 1938, shows a very modern lines, clearly influenced by the aesthetics streamline of Miami, with bands that cover its facade, rounded corners, providing plasticity to the facade. A massive façade, but inside cavities, which completely isolates the theater of noise. In its volume found two bodies, one vertical, where the scenario and one that is cut horizontally, we find the hall and all facilities for the theater, the dressing rooms. The interior was coated with nickel plated steel. At the time the film Faust had a Deco-style marquee, now sadly defunct. The decor of the theater complete with some floral and geometric reliefs.
